Nekoten House was founded in 2012 and has been in operation without an online presence.
The founder used her own personal savings and sold many items in order to keep the sanctuary afloat. She noticed that it was very difficult to find volunteers, so once the sanctuary officially became a registered nonprofit she used her own personal resources to hire staff. Currently, due to lack of funding we are barely able to survive and need your help. We constantly need large supplies of cat food, cat litter and cat supplies. We receive no local or government funding. We operate solely on the kindness of private donors.
